Next steps and decision-making
The NHS and system partners are focused on the emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic. These extraordinary circumstances will impact on some of the timelines for consideration and decision-making which were published in the consultation document and supporting materials.
Our aim is to adhere to the following broad timescales; this is subject to the continuing review during the emergency response to the pandemic.
Next steps and decision-making
April/May 2020
- Following consultation, all responses from members of the public and local organisations will be independently evaluated and a draft report produced.
- Timescales for post-consultation decision-making are subject to the volume and content of responses received.
Late Spring/Summer 2020
- Stakeholders have commented on the draft report of the consultation evaluation together with the review of the equalities impact assessment. The report has now been published on this website.
- The evaluation of responses, feedback from stakeholders and impact assessments will be shared with the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (JHOSC).
Formal decision-making
- A decision-making business case (DMBC) will be developed outlining the recommended decision as a result of the consultation evaluation, impact assessments and feedback from the JHOSC. The timing for the DMBC will be kept under review as the response to Covid-19 progresses. The ambition is to produce a DMBC for the autumn 2020. Further updates on the timing will be published on the website when they are confirmed.
- Prior to any decision-making process by NCL CCG there will be an opportunity for patients and decision-makers to review the evaluation together and discuss any implications.
